Making A Purchase
We try to make buying as easy as possible - if you have any queries please give us a call, you will speak to people who work for the company based in the UK.

ITEMS AVAILABLE ONLINE - Just browse our store, make your choices and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart.
After you have finished your selection, click on VIEW CART and edit your order if necessary.
When you are ready to buy click on CHECKOUT and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

You can pay online via the secure link to our card processing companies or give us a call to pay over the telephone, alternatively print out the order and post with your cheque.

Some CUSTOMISED ITEMS - may not be available to order "on-line". Please see the information displayed on the store pages to help you buy these items.

When you receive confirmation of order, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, or we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason, or the specification has changed but possibly not updated on the web site. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Please remember that photo's taken by professional third party's may have copyright, if this is the case please confirm in the email or if posting attach a headed signed letter, to state that you indemnify us or have the photo owners permission to reproduce it.
Shipping And Handling
Parcels are normally sent by Royal Mail. Parcels up to 1kg will be sent by First Class Packet, other than Special Occassion decorated items in presentation boxes which will be sent by First Class Packet Recorded Signed For delivery. Parcels over 1kg will be sent by Standard Parcels.

A signature will be required for all deliveries, unless you have authorised us to leave the packet/parcel without signature.
However Royal Mail cannot take responsibility for the security of your purchase in this event.

Postage & Packing = P&P: UK P&P is stated on the view cart &/or checkout screen.
P&P is calculated on a weight basis (other than for books and jewellery which are posted separately, please refer to details in those sections)
Up to 150gms £2.25, 151 - 250gms £3.65, 251- 500gms £4.25, 501-750gms £4.75, 751-1000gms £5.75, 1001-2kg £6.75, 2kg-4kg £9.40.

Some horseshoe items may have to be shipped seperately - this does not affect the P&P you pay.

P&P for Special Occassion signed for items is included in the price shown as they have to be shipped seperately.

The above shipping costs & delivery is limited to orders within the UK, overseas buyers are invited to email us with details of the products they are interested in and we will quote a price in both £ sterling and US dollars inclusive of P&P. If accepted we will then email a PayPal invoice to collect payment.
Delivery Schedule
We will normally send your order to you within 7 business days. This does not include the time taken by Royal Mail to deliver items. Therefore if your "must receive by" date is important please advise us so that we schedule production and posting accordingly.

Some special plating or painting processes may take longer. We will advise you by email (or telephone/fax if you have given us this information and you prefer this method) if there is going to be any delay.

International orders are confirmed to you when we have the couriers schedule in hand.

We keep most products in stock, but we only finish them and customise them to order to reduce the time the items are on the shelf. This helps quality control.

You will be emailed (or we will contact you according to your preference) when the goods have been posted by us.
Back Orders
If items are not in stock we will email you or contact you (subject to your preference) to give you an estimated delivery time.

If you have ordered a number of items and some are not in stock we will email you or contact you to ask if you want to receive part of the order now with the balance to follow.

You always have the option to cancel your order without prejudice or cost if you would rather not wait and any payment received will be refunded by us.

If you accept part of the order and do not want to wait for the balance then you may request a refund of the part order not available.

Tax Charges
The product prices, postage/delivery charges and packing costs are inclusive of all UK taxes that we are obliged to collect/pay
Credit Card Security
We use NoChex or PayPal secure site for Credit & Debit Card payments on-line. You do not need a PayPal account to use their service.

Deliveries can only be made to the same address as that registered to the credit/debit card.

If you want a delivery to an alternative address then payment can be made by bank transfer or cheque/postal order.

Delivery to an alternative address means that the order cannot be completed "On-Line". Therefore please print out the order and give us a call to discuss payment methods and the alternative delivery details.

Delivery will then be made once the payment has cleared in our account.
Guarantee
Return any item delivered in a damaged or faulty condition within 7 working days and we will refund the delivered price plus the return post costs. Allow up to 21 days for us to process the repayment and we will normally refund you using the same payment method that you used to purchase the goods.

Images on this site are for reference purposes only. Due to photographic constraints actual colours and finishes may vary from the pictures shown. Also part of the product process is 'artisan' (ie. not factory) produced and therefore cannot be identical. Minor variations are part of the process and add to the originality of the items. These elements are not considered as "faults".

If the fault is in a clock mechanism then do not return the entire item, please post the clock mechanism to us and request a replacement mechanism. Clock mechanisms have a six month guarantee.

We reserve the right to refuse a refund in the event that the item is found to have suffered damage after delivery or has been misused or used other than in accordance with instructions or if the problem is due to normal wear and tear.

Please ensure that you enclose the Advice Note that contains your details in order that the item can be identified.

HorseCo Ltd do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

We do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam). We conform to the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998.

Returns Policy
If you change your mind about an item, you may return it within 14 days of receipt. We recommend that you obtain proof of delivery.

If you are returning the goods because you want to change the specification (eg colour/size) then please re-order through the website.

Provided that the item is returned in clean condition and in its original packaging, the purchase price will be refunded and you should allow up to 21 days from receipt by us of your returned goods for your refund to be processed. We will normally refund you using the same payment method that you used to purchase the goods.

Postage and packaging charges will not be refunded and customers are responsible for meeting the cost of return postage for items that are not faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights.


IMPORTANT NOTICE: HOME APPROVAL EXCEPTIONS.

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have a right to cancel your order for any product apart from products made to your specifications or personalised.

Certain goods on our website are NOT sold on home approval. Goods subject to this exception are those where you choose the "Photo Service option" in the product description where we have to reproduce photos for you or clocks made from your photographs or we personalise items for you.
Remittance Terms
Payment must be received and cleared prior to despatch of an order.

Payment Online:
By credit/debit card via NoChex or PayPal: choose which service you prefer from the drop down list at the checkout.
You can pay by Visa, Mastercard, Visa Purchase, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, Maestro, Solo, American Express, Giropay and other methods utilised by these payment providers.

You do not need your own PayPal account to use their services to pay us.

Off-Line:
You can order and/or pay off line by telephoning us on 077 60 291 718, or by printing your order and posting it to us with your remittance.
You can pay by cheque, building society cheque or crossed postal order made payable to Horseco Ltd., or by bank transfer (call us for our bank details).

Overseas buyers will be emailed a PayPal invoice to collect payment as orders placed on our web catalogue are for delivery to the UK only.
